Starting our meet the team we have Doug, he is proud to be a Williams, his family have farmed at Bryn Vyrnwy for over 70 years. Himself and his wife Jan decided to diversify part of their 120 acers of farmland into a holiday park 35 years ago. In turn, seeing the opportunity of what the location could offer as a holiday destination. Furthermore, he wanted to share his beautiful home of tranquillity with others. He enjoys getting the mower out daily to tend to the grass. But most of all, he enjoys teaching his grandchildren all about farming.

Jan

Jan is Doug’s wife, she works tirelessly to keep the Park looking beautiful and well nourished. Likewise, her love and passion of flowers, nature and wildlife shows from the moment you arrive. From the farmyard to every aspect of the park, including flower borders, shrubs and bug homes. Furthermore, Jan’s hard work and dedication to keep up the parks high standards has gained her the David Bellamy gold conservation award, on more than one occasion. Whether Jan is tending to borders on the park or in her greenhouses, her dog Trigger is always by her side.

Ed

Ed, Doug and Jan’s son, has always shown a strong interest in the business. At the same time, farming with his dad since he could walk and mowing on the park from the age of 10. Many on the park have watched him from a young age grow into the man he is today. Ed who still works alongside his parents everyday has now taken over the running and maintenance of the park. Furthermore, he strives to push the business forward and has recently added a new development, offering 16 specious static caravan plots.

Sam

Sam, Ed’s wife, was welcomed into the family business eight years ago. If she's not working along side Ed on farming duties you'll find her mowing the camping field, painting, or attending to the toilet/shower block cleaning. Lately she has become more involved in the gardening side as you will see on your welcome to the farmyard. As well as all this she also does a huge amount of work behind the scenes with the Office side of the business and is always on hand to welcome you to the park and assist with any of your enquiries.

Dougie

Named after his Grandad, Ed and Sam’s son Dougie you will often see riding on the mower with grandad or in the tractor with daddy. Dougie's already showing a keen interest in farming and will hopefully be the 4th generation of Williams to take over the family business.

Frankie

Frankie is the youngest member of the Williams family. With only 11 months between her and Dougie, she does not stray far from her brother’s side. Frankie enjoys farming with her daddy, brother and grandad every morning. Additionally, she loves pottering on the park with her Mummy.
