Our Park Guidelines

To maintain the peace, tranquility and safety of our quiet holiday park, we have listed below Our Park Guidelines that we would like all static caravan owners, guests and visitors to follow. Thank you.

Safety
  • Please observe the speed limits on all roads leading to and on the parks, including our entrance and finally the farmyard.
  • We recommend all caravan owners have a gas safety check every 12 months using an authorised gas engineer.
Noise
  • Consideration must always be shown to other holidaymakers. Anyone who causes nuisance or distress to others may be asked to leave the park.
  • Please ensure you and your children/grandchildren respect the privacy and quietness required by other persons in the park. We have a 10:30 pm curfew that must therefore be strictly respected by all our park users. Please ensure children are in, or around their own plot/pitch by 10 pm.
Our Environment
  • Firstly, please help our environment by being a responsible recycler and use the correct bins provided, only for their stated purpose.
  • Secondly, try to keep water usage to a minimum, ensuring all taps are turned off after use.
  • Thirdly, do not litter on the park or any of the surrounding parkland. Take your litter with you till you find a bin. Litter is harmful to the environment and animals.

Children
  • A children’s play area is provided. Parents and guardians are asked to ensure that their children make use of this amenity. Not allowing them to play around other people’s caravans, flower beds, ornaments, toilet/shower block, launderette and water taps.
  • Our Park Guidelines state no ball games are to be played on or around the parks. Please use the allocated play areas.
  • For children’s safety in areas of busy traffic flow, we ask that children do not play or gather on the crossroad that leads to the camping field, or on the bank from the farmyard that leads to the park.
  • Bikes must be ridden with care and attention on all park areas. In addition, children are requested to avoid riding their bikes on alternative parks to the one in which their accommodation is located.
  • Furthermore, scooters and battery/fuel operated quad bikes or similar are not permitted in any area of the park.
  • We ask that all young children be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially while walking or riding a bike, on or around the park roads.
  • In addition, children must be supervised by an adult whilst playing on the climbing frame, slides, swings or any other playground equipment.

Dogs
  • Although we are a dog-friendly caravan park. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while in the Park.
  • Also, please ensure that all dogs are controlled and barking is always kept to a minimum.
  • Dog fouling on the park or any surrounding parkland must be cleaned up.
  • Finally, we reserve the right to exclude any dog which is out of control or showing signs of aggression.

Insurance

  • Owners of static caravans are required by law to take out insurance on their caravan.
  • Owners of caravans on this park are advised that should anything happen to their own caravan, for instance, fire, gas bottle explosion etc. which results in damage to neighbouring caravans or caravans nearby, they will personally be responsible for financially reimbursing the third party.
Security
  • Finally, so we can monitor who is on-site at all times, if you are not a resident of our park already, please let us know if you are planning to visit before you come. In addition, please make a booking before coming if you wish to use the park facilities as this is a private caravan park.

Most importantly, thank you for your help and support in keeping our park a safe, well maintained and enjoyable place to stay.
